I AM writing on behalf of the Wycombe Islamic Mission and the Muslim community to express our sorrow and disgust at the outrages carried out in London.
Even more shocking was learning that the criminals involved were of Islamic faith.
We, as a Wycombe Muslim community, utterly deplore and condemn the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
There is no justification in any way shape or form for this sort of act to be carried out against innocent human beings.
Islam is a peaceful religion. It does not condone such acts. The Koran clearly states taking the life of one innocent human being is as if you have killed the whole of humanity.
Terrorists who carry out such acts have no place in Islam. The Muslim community in High Wycombe stands shoulder to shoulder with the Londoners at this very difficult time.
This an an attempt by terrorists to divide communities and cause mayhem. Our message to such criminals is loud and clear we stand together and we will fight against such beliefs and hatred.
Again our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this unspeakable crime.
