WAYS to help save energy in the home feature in a new exhibition at the Environment Centre on the Rye.
Opened last Saturday morning by mayoress Roxanna Ali, the exhibition looks to provide advice on how to prevent climate change and live in a more ecological way.
Francis Alexander, one of the Environment Centre trustees, said: "We are often asked what can I do to help prevent Global Warming and climate change?' The answer is lots of little things like saving water and turning off a light switch."
The exhibition features many tips on doing your bit for the environment, such as how to make compost, ideas for recycling and heat insulation.
Among the exhibits is a glass bee hive, where children can watch the insects at work.
On Saturday alternative therapists gave treatments to the many visitors who walked around the centre.
Cllr Claire Martens, deputy mayor of Wycombe, spoke of the dangers facing us in the next ten years if nothing is done to protect the environment.
The Environment centre was selected by mayor Liaquat Ali as his charity of choice for his term in office.
The Environment Centre is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
