A BURST water main in North Dean has remained unfixed for more than three weeks despite repeated calls from residents to solve the problem.
The water main, underneath Speen Road, has been spilling water onto the road and has created a large pool of water which residents say makes driving difficult.
Bob and Janet Wheeler, who live opposite the broken pipe, have made several complaints to water providers Three Valleys Water.
Mr Wheeler, 65, said: "The cars keep going through and spraying water everywhere. There is a lot of a water coming out every day.
"I would guess it is more than a barrel full."
Mr Wheeler also expressed concerns that the road would cave in as it is a busy route through the village.
He said: "We get a lot of big articulated lorries coming through here and I just hope the road doesn't give in under the pressure. You don't know how much damage has been done underground."
The water company agreed to fix the problem last Wednesday, but although several barriers and signs were put up, no work has been carried out.
Mr Wheeler added: "Perhaps because we are a small village they think we don't matter."
A spokesperson for Three Valleys Water said: "All leaks are inspected and assessed in order to prioritise the repairs. Three Valleys Water would like to thank customers for continuing to report leaks to the company.
"We also want to assure them that we are committed to reducing leakage."
