IT'S THE END of the school term next week with the long summer holidays ahead. Keeping children occupied always brings a challenge. Hazlemere Lighthouse is certainly worth considering for the first week from July 25 to 29. This popular week must be booked in advance. Forms are available from the school, church and at Hazlemere Library.
AFRICA found its way onto the school curriculum this week with three days featuring an African focus. With the continent very much in the news the event was designed to bring a little of this vast area and its culture closer to home. African drumming also played its part in this event and featured a local group.
GRANGE ROAD sees visitors Monks Risborough at the wicket on Saturday. The match starts at 1.30pm. On Sunday the visitors are Eddlesborough with a slightly later start time of 2pm.
Spectators are very welcome to come along and watch either match. To find out more about the Cricket Club call Laurie Johnson on 01494 715243.
