ST LAWRENCE CHURCH up on the hill is possibly the most unmistakable feature within the village. Like many churches it now offers more than just services on a Sunday and is the regular venue for concerts, mainly classical and choral.
Throughout the summer on Sundays it is hoped to have the tower open to visitors between midday and 5pm. Teas will be served. If you are out and about on Sunday then why not visit the church, see the view and enjoy tea.
REMEMBER this weekends major music and fireworks event though, there's likely to be lots of traffic VILLAGE HALL is home to several local groups in the village but is also available for private hire. There is a main hall and a smaller upstairs room suitable for a variety of functions.
Hall bookings are handled by Mrs Plumeridge who can be contacted during the day, Monday to Friday on 01494 437607.
