DISABLED FRIENDSHIP CLUB are looking for volunteer drivers who, every second Saturday in the month, would transport members to the West End Hall near the Kings Church Centre to be there by 3pm. They would then need to be collected at 5pm for the journey home. Anyone who can spare time should contact the secretary Sally Clements on 01494 814885.Their next meeting is on Saturday, July 9 when they have entertainment from the barber shop singers called The Chiltones. There is no meeting in August.

FIRST CIVIC SERVICE for the new Mayor of High Wycombe, Cllr Liaquat Ali, is on Sunday at All Saints Parish Church, starting at 9.45am. He will be accompanied by the Charter Trustees, Hon Freeman, Hon Burgesses, the Mayor's Cadets and Mayors from other towns and ex-Mayors. This an opportunity to see and enjoy the pageant of the Mayoralty. You can take photographs as the procession processes to the church DIAL-A-RIDE held an enjoyable afternoon last Monday at the Red Cross Centre just off Desborough road with around 30 members attending. There were refreshments, a raffle and entertainment. Organisers Pauline and David Morris, with Janet Rolfe, were very pleased at how the afternoon went.
