A HIGH speed car chase across three counties resulted in a police officer being injured.
Offenders broke into five cars parked in Danesfield House Hotel and Spa, at around 12.25pm on Friday.
Hotel staff spotted two Asian males in their early 20s escaping from the car park on the Henley Road, Marlow in a stolen silver BMW. They were pursued by police along the Marlow Road, through Cox Green and onto the A308 Braywick Road in the direction of the M4.
In a desperate attempt to shake off police, thieves reversed into the police car and ran over an officer's foot.
The chase was then picked up by a police helicopter in Windsor and the car was later discovered abandoned in Surrey. Police suspect the BMW was possibly involved in a theft from a vehicle at the Dog and Badger on the Henley Road, in Marlow, at around 12.15pm on Friday.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage of the chase and want anyone who might have seen the BMW on Friday to get in touch.
