TALENTED young artists went head to head during an inter-school competition hosted by Hazlemere school Sir William Ramsay.
Youngsters from Hazlemere C of E Combined School, Tylers Green County Middle School, and Widmer End Combined School all showed work based on the artist Matisse.
Year Six pupil Joshua Tabi, from Hazlemere C of E, triumphed in the long-running sketchpad competition, producing work well beyond his years.
Annie Hearne, arts co-ordinator at Sir William Ramsay, told Midweek: "The brief was to further produce an experimental sketchpad this time based on the artist Matisse. The standard of entries was exceptional."
