THIEVES have stolen 150 golf balls putting a cloud over a charity golf day this weekend.
Charity golf day organiser Jason Eldridge, 33, is now trying to rustle up new golf balls for the event.
The balls were stolen from the Live and Let Live Pub, in Booker Common, on Monday, June 20.
A disappointed Mr Eldridge said: "The landlord kindly stored 150 golf balls in his garage, which were for the day."
He added: "Now due to some nasty person we can't sell the golf balls on."
The Pinnacle 1 golf balls were due to be given as prizes after a golf day in Maidenhead and would have been sold in aid of local hospices.
Mr Eldridge added: "If the person who stole the balls is reading this, I ask how big and clever you feel right now.
"One day you might need the use of a hospice."
If you can donate new golf balls or have been offered the Pinnacle 1 balls call Jason Eldridge on 07710 075295.
