AGE Concern Marlow are very pleased to hear that Tesco have once again shown their support to the local communities in and around their stores, by allowing Age Concern volunteers to take up a collection outside their local stores on June 24 and 25.
The money raised will go to support local Age Concern services for the elderly.
By allowing this collection and by Tesco nationally adopting Age Concern as their charity of the year means a great deal to the charity.
We also understand that some staff in the stores are getting involved in fundraising projects themselves for which we are also most grateful.
We would hope everyone will support this effort and not simply walk past the collectors, after all it is the elderly of today that are in need of Age Concern.
Please also keep in mind that you never know when you will need such help, either for yourself or a loved one.
