I read your "News in Brief" page about an incident that happened in Guinions Road involving police attendance.

Guinions Road became Micklefield because of a bad incident but if a house had been for sale in Guinions Road it would have come under the area of Pinions or the Marsh!

As a resident of Micklefield Road for the past 18 years I was very disappointed, yet again, to see Micklefield Road being slated as a bad area.

Houses are considerably lower in price in the road just because of the name.

There are some very big and lovely homes in the road as well as some very nice people. I am sure there are a lot of people that live in Micklefield who are also fed up of our area always having a bad reputation when it is a very nice place to live.

So for those people who might be thinking of moving to this area, come and join us and don't be afraid it is a good place to live despite what some may say!
