FOOTBALL CLUB are looking for additional team management and players (especially strikers) for next season. The teams meet at the recreation ground for training in the evenings. Pop along and ask for Russell Thomas or give me a ring.

BOWLING CLUB are now playing competitively and to encourage membership they are offering coaching sessions on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 8pm. The future looks great for the various groups who use the old pavilion. As previously reported a new one is to be built to the high standard that is necessary these days to meet user requirements, disability access and health and safety.

VILLAGE FETE'S next meeting is on Monday at the community centre starting at 8pm. Interested parties please try and attend. Raffle tickets will be available and an update on the attractions booked for the fete will be discussed. The letters to local shops and businesses who have so kindly supported this annual event, which has been going for over 30 years, have been circulated. We thank them at this early stage for their past support and look forward to their response.

GOOD NEIGHBOURS are holding a coffee morning at Nickson Court today from 10am to 11.30am. The group is looking to fund a new mini-bus and need volunteers. Please give me a ring if you require more details.
