SCHOOLS OF CHESHAM CARNIVAL is tomorrow. The procession will start at midday from Asheridge Road, go along Bellingdon Road, Townsend Road then through the town to Lowndes Park for a great afternoon of fun and laughter for all the family. "Books" is the carnival theme.
RESIDENTS OF POND PARK are invited to attend the fourth birthday celebrations of the Pond Park Forum at 7pm on Wednesday, June 29. The chairman Cllr Derek Lacey has invited local MP Cheryl Gillan to the celebration at Hivings Park Free Church in Upper Belmont Road.
HIVINGS PARK FREE CHURCH are holding an "Out and About" gardens day. Go along to the church in Upper Belmont Road between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, July 2. There's a free cup of tea or coffee when you collect the garden map and competition form. All gardens are in easy walking distance of the church. During the day lunches and afternoon tea will be available for a small charge. Also stalls in the church selling plants, cakes and craft items.
Results of the competition will be announced at the family service at 10.30am on July 3. Everyone is welcome.
WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL? There are Friday night sessions for young people at Marston Field which start at 5.30pm and run until 7pm. Coaches from the Leisure Centre ensure you have a good time. Just turn up.
YOUNG PEOPLE OF POND PARK have something to look forward to when Summer 2005 starts on Wednesday, July 27 at Marston Field. There are separate sessions for different age groups. On offer is football, sand studio, mobile climbing wall, cricket, archery, youth club, face-painting, art and craft. Contact Georgina telephone 01494 732105 for more details.
WALK THE WALK and meet at the open air swimming pool in Moor Road every Thursday at 10.30am. Walk up to three miles depending on the group in an easy style and with gradients on some routes.
FUN DOG SHOW at Ashley Green Fete tomorrow from 2pm with all dogs welcome.
