If you are in Year 11, you may feel like your're growing up. The time has come to say goodbye to school and go to college or continue into sixth form. Whichever path you take, you may feel like your're losing friends. It is a difficult process with a lot of crying involved. Tissues alert!
Many schools organise proms or balls to bring all students in Year 11 together to say a final goodbye. This gives us a chance to think of all the good memories and laugh at the bad ones.
The Misbourne prom evening was set in style. Memories came flooding back, and dancing all night long was a must! The boys polished up very well and the girls were very sophisticated.
A little saying one of my friends passed on to me was "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it's happened!" This is very true, although the crying did get the better of my friends and me.
