OBJECTORS to plans for land near the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marlow will have to wait for a decision.
Housing Solutions, and Maidenhead and District Housing Association, submitted a planning application for 50 "affordable" houses and apartments on land next to the hotel in Fieldhouse Lane.
The application, which was backed by the town council despite concerns over traffic, would see the homes go on brownfield land originally earmarked for hotel development.
But Wycombe Distirct Council said last week that a date to go before the development control commitee had still not been met.
A spokesman said: "The eight-week target since the application was received has not yet been reached, as this has been set for June 23. Therefore, no date for this application to go to committee has yet been decided."
The hotel agreed to let the developers use it because they had "no intention" of expanding onto it.
