FUN IS THE OPTION this weekend starting at the coffee morning at the Free Methodist Church in Shepherds Lane from 10am tomorrow.

FOLLOW THAT with a walk or drive to the New Town where you will be welcomed by stalls and entertainment on the Council Green. Tomorrow is the popular annual Awareness Day, where you can find out all about activities in and around the area.

Opening time is 10.30am. About 45 organisations will be manning stalls or tables, with games and information. Organised by the Beaconsfield Society, the stalls cover a range of voluntary service or interest groups that give you a chance to find something of interest. Entertainment takes place in a central area with the English Folk Dance & Song Society, a jazz band and a bouncy castle, for the children.

There will also be some donkeys and chances to talk to the police or see inside a search and rescue vehicle.

If you would like to know more about the Beaconsfield Society, they will have their own stall so visit them there. They will be very happy to talk to you. Current members are reminded that their help would be gratefully received for an hour or so.
