YOUNGSTERS formed an enormous crocodile trail after they were given encouragement to walk to school.
Metronet Rail has helped support the Downley School with the trail.
The company, responsible for revitalising two-thirds of the London Tube, donated 500 baseball caps to teachers, parents, and pupils who are aged four to 11.
Organiser Lynne Thompson, said: "I'm extremely grateful to Metronet Rail for providing the baseball caps.
"They added great excitement to the morning and enabled us to identify the walkers very easily."
The event was just one of the activities organised for "Walk to School Week" and involved children, parents and staff walking a mile to the school in Faulkner Way, Downley.
Two Police Community Support Officers also joined in the fun.
The children brought change of 1p and 2p coins making a line 84 metres in length with the money being donated to MacMillan Cancer Relief.
