THE Bucks Free Press is giving readers the chance to seek answers to those questions you have always wanted to ask.
Legislation is now in place permitting us to request sensitive information from local authorities and public bodies and we want your help.
Under the Freedom of Information Act public services are required to give out data and material previously unavailable to the public. So far we have successfully obtained information detailing the number of parking tickets issued in High Wycombe and the guidelines attendants are forced to work by.
Figures relating to the number of reported MRSA cases at Wycombe and Amersham hospitals were also acquired last week.
However repeated attempts to reveal the number of speeding tickets issued on Marlow Hill has failed.
But we do not want to stop there.
We want readers to write to us with questions they want us to ask on their behalf, and our reporter Kris Hall will do the rest.
Our reporter said: "This law was passed by the Government in November 2000 in a bid to promote trust and confidence among public bodies.
"It gives us a right of access to all types of recorded information held by public bodies such as the NHS, local education authority, and even the police.
"Readers can email or write to me, clearly outlining the sort of questions they would like answered.
"Hopefully people can come up with some strong ideas about issues that really concern our readers."
Readers wishing to raise concerns can email Kris on khall@london.newsquest.co.uk or write to Kris Hall, The Bucks Free Press, Loudwater Mill, Station Road, Loudwater, High Wycombe HP10 9TY.
