IN 1951 the pupils of Mill End Road Secondary Modern School took on the masters in a summer cricket match and won.
Terry "Flannel" Fanthorpe, now 68, was in the winning side and brought these pictures to the Free Press in the hope of meeting up with old school friends.
He was around 14 years old at the time of the match and remembers it well.
