OPEN-AIR theatre lovers can now enjoy a special production of a Shakespearean comedy.
The Chiltern Shakespeare Company is presenting The Taming of the Shrew in the unique setting of the Hall Barn Estate, Beaconsfield, from June 8 to 11 and again from June 15 to 18 in support of The National Deaf Children's Society and Bucks Search and Rescue.
This popular comedy follows the tempestuous relationship between the egocentric Petruchio and feisty Katherine and the sparring of wits between these two characters is one of the highlights of the play.
The outdoor setting means the audience can enjoy their own picnic on the lawns by the lake or have the option of buying something from the refreshment marquee.
Die-hard theatre fans will not only get to enjoy the play in the great outdoors they will also get the full theatrical lighting and sound amplification similar to an indoor play house.
