I WAS amazed when I read last week's letters complaining about the name of the new Eden Shopping Centre. I don't see the problem with the name, but what I do see is the boost which the new centre will give to High Wycombe.

Not only is it going to introduce hundreds, if not thousands of new jobs to the area, there will be hugely improved shopping and entertainment facilities and will give High Wycombe the turn around it really needs. I, personally, can't wait till it's finished, and I bet that even though some people are unhappy with the name now, it won't stop them from enjoying the centre when it's complete.
