THE XP SUPPORT has just launched its charity wristbands. They are pale green, they glow in the dark and have "XP NEEDS ME" engraved on them. These bands which will help to continue the work of the support group who look after people who cannot go out in daylight. The wristbands cost £2 and are available from Sandra Webb, XP Support Group. CONTAINER Gardening is the subject of a talk by Nicholas Morgan from RHS Wisley to the Gardening Society on Thursday at 8pm in the village hall.
TWO COFFEE MORNINGS this month, the first on Saturday, June 18 at Giles Gate, in aid of Arthritis Research and the second on Saturday, June 25 run by the Methodist Ladies Monday Group, which will be at Dorset House, Meadow Gate, Perks Lane.
FRIENDS OF HOLY TRINITY'S Garden Party will be on Sunday, June 12 from 12.30pm in the vicarage garden. Everyone is welcome.
REV PAUL SMITH'S final Sunday in the parish will be June 19 when he will be preaching at services in Holy Trinity at 9.30am and then in Great Hampden at 11.15am. Following the services, there will be a farewell barbecue in the vicarage garden. To help with catering please contact Doreen Clarke on 01494 863397 if you are planning to attend. HABERDASHERY including reels of cotton, needles, pins, zips, scissors and other items are welcomed by Workaid, the local charity which supplies refurbished tools and equipment to vocational training projects in the Third World. Further details are in the latest edition of The Trinity Herald which is being delivered to all houses in the village at the present time.
