THE MAIZE MAZE is growing again. In addition to previous attractions, there will be Stage Plus - a summer holiday imaginative play. Although a long way ahead, it is worth knowing about it now, especially if you have to make plans for the school holidays.

Monday to Friday from August 1 - 26 the Maize Maze will be open with themes especially for five to nine year olds. From August 1 to 5 it's Disney then from August 8 to 12 there's Star Quest, from August 15 to 19 the theme is Wildlife, and finally from August 22 to 26 imagination can flow with Heroes and Heroines. The themed events are from 10.30am to 1.30pm and cost £60 per week.

OPEN GARDENS AT SPEEN is on Sunday, June 19 from 2pm to 6pm in aid of BBOWT, with afternoon teas at the village hall. Plants will be on sale. The cost is £3 with children going free. Contact 01494 488623 for more details.

ALSO OPEN will be gardens in Monks Risborough on Sunday, June 12. The combined admission to all the gardens is £3.50 with children going free. There will be home made teas, plant stalls and bell ringing, all in aid of St Dunstans new church hall. Parking will be easy in Mill Lane and the gardens will all be within walking distance.

GILBERT AND SULLIVAN''S "The Mikado" will be performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 23 to 25 at 7.30pm in Longwick Village Hall, presented by Princes Risborough Music Society. There will be retiring collections in aid of Soundabout, the charity which helps children with learning disabilities, by means of music.

OPEN MORNING for Windmill under fives will be on Thursday, June 16 from 9.45am to 10.45am. They would love to meet any parents or carers who are interested in their children starting at Windmill in the future.
