TINY TOTS SERVICE on Wednesday, June 15 will be the annual picnic, starting at midday in the Mothers Union garden near Church House.
VALLEY WIVES were fascinated by the talk on Worcester China given by Jane Fisher. It provided lots of information and history of Worcester China from 1752 onwards.
It seems that an eminent physician, Dr Wall, borrowed £4500 to start the china factory. It show what faith his partners had in him and he did not let them down. That was a huge amount of money at that time. Worcester China is apparently the oldest continuously produced British china.
