TEMPERATURES weren't all that were raised at Carrington Junior School's first curry night fundraiser.
The Friends of Carrington School PTA estimates it raised £1,600 from a curry night on Monday, May 22, held at Flackwell Heath's newest Bangladeshi restaurant, the Radhuni.
More than 70 PTA diners tucked into a spicy five course meal, including crispy papadoms, a selection of mixed starters and hot lamb and chicken dishes.
Radhuni owner Mia Akhtar said: "We are happy to have helped. The guests arrived at 7pm and they were enjoying themselves so much they didn't leave until 11pm."
