A FAMILY from Downley has said that its front drive has been turned into a rubbish tip because a company has been unable to collect its skip.
Tim Johnstone, 33, of Common Side, Downley, said he has been fobbed off for a month with excuses from Ace Skips based in Gerrards Cross.
The £159 skip is causing numerous problems for Mr Johnstone, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, and his young family and his neighbours.
The skip was delivered on April 15 because Mr Johnstone, who is a carpenter, was carrying out work on his garden.
Four days later Mr Dawson said he rang the company which agreed to remove it.
Since then Mr Johnstone said he has been given numerous assurances from the manager that it would be removed.
Mr Johnstone said other people have started to use the skip to dump their rubbish which included a vacuum cleaner and a door.
The father-of-two said: "They delivered the skip in two days, took my money and they will not take it away.
"They keep making promises to me but it's still here.
"I have paid for the rubbish to be taken away and now it seems I've paid for other people to let their rubbish sit on my drive."
Mr Johnstone's condition means he has problems with mobility and having the skip on his drive means that he has to park across the road. His business is being affected because he is spending more time lugging his tools and materials to his house.
He said: "It's increasing my day by about an hour each day because I cannot park directly outside my own house."
Mr Johnstone and his wife cannot park in front of the skip just in case a lorry does come to remove it.
The couple have a baby and a toddler and are concerned about their elder child running into the road while they are strapping the baby in their car.
The family added they were considering taking legal action to resolve the matter.
The Free Press contacted Ace Skips but the company declined to comment.
