I AM really glad that Wycombe District Council Council has chosen a biblical name, Eden (presumably Jonah fell out of the running), for the new commercial shopping centre as this is clearly in line with Christian teaching.
My favourite part of the Bible is when Jesus goes into the temple and fills it with moneylenders.
For it was his father's house and the time was ripe for affordable consumable goods, tacky bits of plastic and cheap CDs.
And as it was written, in the beginning was the word and the word was Waitrose. Surely the second coming will see the Lord return not as a carpenter, but as an independent financial adviser.
Let us hope there are no business exoduses from this commercial garden of paradise.
