The social scene at the regatta
MARLOW'S most celebrated annual event has been commemorated in a new publication.
The Marlow Museum Centre Project has produced an illustrated booklet to commemorate 150 years of the Marlow Regatta.
The booklet is currently being printed and will be on sale at the Marlow Town Regatta and Festival, the Marlow Regatta, and Marlow Tourist Information Centre, priced 50p.
John Evans, chairman of the Marlow Museum Centre Project, said: "We are interested in conserving Marlow's heritage and ensuring that an important historic event like this is commemorated in some way.
"We considered putting on an exhibition, but decided to produce a booklet instead which could go on sale at both regattas."
