A MARLOW infants school said a special goodbye to one of its longest serving members of staff last Wednesday.
Susan Hibbert, a receptionist at Holy Trinity School in Wethered Road, is leaving her post after more than 18 years of service.
Susan, known as Sue to friends, is one of few members of staff at the school to have worked there since the 1980s.
She was met with a special presentation on Wednesday morning where pupils, teachers and other staff paid tributes and said emotional farewells.
Mrs Hibbert, of Marlow Bottom, is leaving her job to work in a pub owned by her family.
She was given a watch from staff and a leaving collection was also made.
Meanwhile, pupil Hayden James is now the proud owner of a new bike thanks to a competition run by Wycombe Wanderers Football Club.
The youngster was presented with the shiny set of wheels during Wednesday's assembly after he had entered his name into a prize draw during a football course run by the club's community scheme.
A member of staff from the school said the nine-year-old was delighted with his prize.
She added: "Hayden's mum and grandma were here to see him collect the bike and he was clearly really excited."
