HUSBANDS of High Wycombe pair Amanda Berry and Sarah Gray will have to do without breakfast in bed on Father's Day as their wives have opted to take part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride for charity.
The two mums are taking up the 54-mile challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. Mrs Berry, of Copperfields, High Wycombe, said: "The dads are not very impressed but hopefully they will come and cheers us along."
The pair are trying to find training around looking after their children and playing for a local netball team. Mrs Berry said: "We squeeze it in between school drop-offs and pick-ups"
The ride on June 19 starts at 6.30am. Mrs Berry added: "The plan is to arrive in Brighton in time for a Father's Day picnic on sunny Brighton Beach."
