NEW Princes Risborough Upper School headteacher Peter Rowe invited town councillors to see the school in a bid to foster better links with the community.
The councillors, many of whom are former pupils or parents, met children on the school council on Friday, May 13.
They talked to teachers about future plans for the school after it received a glowing report from inspectors. Mr Rowe said: "We chatted about the need for the school to understand more about how Princes Risborough works as a town and the council wanted to know a bit more about how the school works."
Town mayor Gary Hall, also a school governor, said: "I was really impressed with the facilities and the teaching quality. It is good to have strong community links."
