THE streets of Beaconsfield Old Town thronged with people for the annual Charter Fair.
People flocked to the Old Town to enjoy the fairground rides and other attractions on Tuesday, May 10.
Michelle Pitt, who lives in the town, said: "This is a great tradition.
"I enjoy coming here every year.
"It is a fun day, enjoyed by everyone in the town."
The fair has been held in London End for 736 years, after a royal charter was granted allowing the fair to be held annually.
The fair, and the pressure it puts on the roads of the area, were worked into the Old Town improvements plans.
Specific allowances were made for the weight and positioning of the rides.
