Ziggy Petherbridge has had a penchant for The Dolphin ever since he became a regular. The pub, in Totteridge Lane, is said to be one of High Wycombe's oldest public houses and dates back more than a century.

What's the atmosphere like?
It's a good atmosphere. There's a big television with a massive screen and that does wonders. It's one of the main reasons why I probably come in here. There's a good mixture of old people, young people, so it's a good balance.

What's your drink?
Fosters without fail. But they've got a good range of bitters here, so I try to try a couple if I can from time to time.

What's the food like?
The other week I came in here for food and had a giant burger and chips they were big portions as well, not just little ones, which tend to be a bit of a rip-off at some smaller country pubs.

What's the best thing about the place?
The big screen for sports. It's so big you get loads of people in here. It brings in a lot of families and football supporters. There are pool tables here too. It's all about coming down with friends.

How does it compare to other pubs?
Not every pub has a screen that big. It's also very spacious which is good when they get busy crowds in on a Friday night.

Made any friends while coming here?
It is a great crowd in here the older generation especially are easy to make friends with.

Most memorable moments?
When the football's on the telly. Anytime really. But I suppose the best was back during the World Cup in 2002. The atmosphere was really buzzing. It was absolutely heaving in here, but you still got to see the screen.
