A PRINCESS joined superheroes Spiderman and Superman for a charity event in Marlow.
The NSPCC's National Dress Differently Day saw youngsters at Kingfisher Pre-School, in Glade Road, wearing the costumes of some of their favourite characters.
Maureen Brown, pre-school leader, said: "It went really well and the children really enjoyed it. We managed to raise £50 which is great.
"When I asked one girl who was lying on the floor dressed as a princess what she was doing she replied waiting to be kissed by Prince Charming'."
More than 20 children aged between two and five donated money along with members of staff.
However, there was a serious side to the fundraising event held at the Marlow Baptist Church on Friday, May 13.
Mrs Brown added: "The money was for the NSPCC so we explained to the children how lucky they are that their parents look after them as there are other children not so fortunate."
