PAGAN worship and the roles of engineering greats in shaping the Wycombe we know today came under the spotlight during a unique history trail.
Visitors of all ages met at the Environment Centre on Sunday, May 15, before embarking on a two-hour stroll around Holywell Mead.
Questions, like how Marsh Green became a pond and what was first repaired in 1370, were taken by guide-for-the-day Frances Alexander herself one of the best known faces in the town.
