Ercol chairman Edward Tadros rarely has time to relax and enjoy the comfort of the new recliners produced by his company. It has been hectic since the business moved from High Wycombe.
He said: "Amazingly it is very nearly three years since we moved into our new building in Princes Risborough. The move has been successful in spite of the tough trading conditions in the UK.
"We are still committed to continued investment in the building of a UK manufacturing business using the best in design and production, focusing on crafting handmade furniture, made the way it should be.
"Now an exciting drive in the business is the launch of a new ercolani range, embracing all of the traditional qualities and craftsmanship of Ercol, in a new contemporary design aimed at the 35-45-year-old age group.
"We are about to embark on the final stage of concentrating the whole business under this one roof by bringing our distribution business at Worleys in Cressex into this building at Princes Risborough.
"We are very optimistic about the future and having achieved this last piece of integration we can look forward to driving our business into growth with the support of our customers and retailers."
