IAIN RENNIE Hospice will be hosting the 20th Anniversary Horse Show on Cowlease Field tomorrow. The day gets underway from 9am with plenty to keep children and adults entertained. The show will include the Chiltern and Thames Valley rider qualifiers adding to the excitement of this day. Do go along and support this local charity that provides specialist nursing care for patients who wish to remain at home during the final stages of a terminal illness.
HAVE YOU visited the parishes' new website yet? This new site was officially launched at the annual parish meeting earlier this month and over the coming months will grow as a local resource for information. There is a news section and what's on, to keep you up to date with all that is happening in your village. The new site that has been designed by Mike Henson and it can be found at www.westwycombe.org.uk CARTERS STEAM FAIR last weekend proved to be busy. This traditional fair makes a welcome change to many of the more modern fairs that travel around. Of course there were classic rides such as bumper cars but the old slot machines were a favourite, far more of a challenge than the modern electronic ones. The Saturday evening finished with a fireworks display although we could have done with a bonfire too, on this rather chilly night.
