IT is astonishing how a district council so intent on renewing the Beaconsfield old town roads and pavements, and on aquiring new offices, can have the blind nerve to close all the public toilets in Beaconsfield new town (on cost grounds) at great emotional cost to golden oldies in wheelchairs such as myself.
