BY all means allow the Free Press columnist Charles Mann to remain in post, but let us have a little more thanks, praise and general good cheer.

There is enough misery around, and so let us read something good when we open our local paper.

I have often thought the column should be headed "Moan on Friday".

I was a little disappointed that he did not have his weekly moan on the topic of these "new bins" as I would have been interested to hear his views.
