FUCHSIA Society have a sale tomorrow in the Reading Room at St Giles from 9am until midday. There will be fuchsias suitable for patio pots and for hanging baskets. ANNUAL PLANT SALE courtesy of the Gardening Association is just down the road in Merlin's Cave car park tomorrow from 9am until 11am when you can stock up on a wide variety of plants - then go and plant them. All proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
VOM FASS is coming to St Giles - you might have seen them in Harrods or Selfridges. The store moved into the premises which used to be the Greengage Gallery and a range of oils, vinegars and seasonings will be on sale. Wine from the cask will be another feature.
SUNDAY JAZZ at Merlin's Cave welcomes one of the young bloods of the jazz scene. Steve Fishwick will be blowing his own trumpet, and impressing no doubt, along with Matt Holmes on drums, Richard Busiakiewicz on piano and Pete Hughes on bass. The music starts at 12.15pm in the barn at the back of the pub.
MAY FAIR takes place tomorrow in Chalfont St Peter parish church hall from 10am to 12.30pm. All sorts of stalls with one featuring a wide range of Aloe Vera products. It's not to be missed. Money raised will go to the Childrens Society.
CAFE looks set to open where Co-ordination used to be in St Peter.
LITTLE BLACK DRESS is the fashion statement in the window of the Red Cross charity shop in St Peter. Reports say that it's the undated fashion item in every woman's wardrobe.
SUMMER has arrived at Bucks Leather. Their window will make you think of beaches, warm sun and waving palms. A delight on a dull Monday with a biting northeasterly blowing.
CHALFONT FAIR is on Spring Bank Holiday Monday from 10am to 4pm. There will be lots to do and see on the day so make it a date to stay close to home.
