FINE art students at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College (BCUC) are setting their sights on international fame.
Frances Greenough, 22, of Beaconsfield, has applied for an internship at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery following her graduation in June.
Fellow artist Emma Mabbott 23, of Maidenhead, who paints life-size human figures in oils, is heading to Dubai where she hopes to qualify as an art teacher.
Frances, whose dream is to be a full-time artist, told the Star: "My work explores fantasy landscapes, influenced by Japanese art."
Meanwhile fine art students are busy preparing for the university's fifth degree show which will be held at the Octagon Parade studios between June 11 and June 16. Works on display include sound and video art, light installations, sculptures, drawings and paintings.
