ACTOR Brian Blessed is appealing for adventurous people in south Bucks to sign up for an Inca Trail Trek in South America to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The two-week trip will take eager participants into the mountain ranges of darkest Peru.
Mr Blessed, a keen mountaineer who has tackled the peaks of Everest and Kilimanjaro, said: "I am used to tough challenges, and as a supporter of Marie Curie Cancer Care, I am calling on people from south Bucks to take on their own challenge."
The trip will include a four-day trek through the Andes mountain range to the "lost city" of Machu Picchu and the historical valley of the Incas.
Visits to the cities of Lima and Cusco are also included.
All you need to take part is a sense of adventure and the enthusiasm to rise to the challenge of raising funds for Marie Curie nurses, who are able to offer free nursing care for cancer patients in their own homes.
If you are interested in taking part in the Inca Trail Trek contact Ruth Thompson on 01604 442306.
