PUPILS at the Cressex Community School are set for adventure after a donation from the Buckinghamshire Foundation set them on their way to an acitivity weekend.
Frances Alexander, from the foundation, presented pupils with a cheque for £500 towards a weekend activity trip in North Wales.
Rachel Bates, a PE teacher the school, said: "Many of the pupils have never been away before on school trips due to financial constraints so I'm really grateful to the foundation for this money."
The pupils will spend a long weekend at Kingswood Educational Activity Centre in North Wales where they will take part in activities such as quad-biking, abseiling and orienteering.
The centre provides educational programmes combined with indoor and outdoor activities and pupils benefit enormously from the experience both educationally and socially.
The Buckinghamshire Foundation is a charity set up to identify social needs within the county of Buckinghamshire and since January, 2000 it has helped 480 projects within the county.
