AN extraordinary goat has amazed a south Bucks farm by giving birth to four baby girls.
Edith, an eight-year-old Pigmy goat, gave birth to the kids on April 27 at Odds Farm, Wooburn Common Road, Wooburn Common.
The farm is stunned that Edith is rearing the kids, Eanie, Meanie, Minie and Mo, on her own.
Clare Middleton, the livestock manager, said: "It's not common at all to for a goat to have so many babies and the fact that she's rearing four on her own is fantastic.
"I've personally never seen a goat have four babies and rear them all."
Goats only have two teats which means that they are usually unable to cope with more than two offspring.
However, Edith has surprised everyone and is providing enough milk for her kids.
Miss Middleton said: "We're giving her extra food so she can produce enough milk. She's coping brilliantly and should win a goat mother of the year award."
