ON behalf of the British Red Cross, I would like to thank everyone who has supported the charity over the last 12 months.
Thanks to your help, the Red Cross was able to support more than 800,000 vulnerable people in the UK alone, and many thousands more overseas.
With your support the Red Cross responded to 56 emergencies in the UK, provided practical help and emotional support at major fires and provided first aid training to more than 150,000 people.
Throughout London the organisation provided nearly 9,000 people with vital medical equipment.
It also helped more than 10,000 refugee or asylum seekers, and reached more than 10,000 young people through first aid awareness and training.
Dougray Scott, British Red Cross Ambassador
