I believe in Labour's commitment to public services and above all to the NHS free at the point of delivery. International peace, aid and development are the right way forward for a decent country like ours.
The Labour Government has achieved the most stable economy for generations so we have invested in public services to an unprecedented level. We have low unemployment, low inflation and low interest rates. Alongside this we have introduced the minimum wage, tax credits and free childcare.
I would like to energise political life in Wycombe and Marlow. Having lived here all my life I am very committed to this part of Bucks. I would represent your interests vigorously.
Wycombe and Marlow deserve a representative who lives here and experiences the day-to-day hassles and pleasures. If elected I will be able to connect directly with Government and will meet with the Secretary of State for Health again regarding the Conservatives' failures to listen to public concerns about our women's and children's services. I will lobby for more nursing and care home places for the elderly in the High Wycombe area.
