This election isn't just about party politics. It is also about representing all the people of the High Wycombe and Marlow constituency. If re-elected, I want to build on my record of working with members of all political parties, and none, for the common good.

Over a year ago, I helped to set up Save Hospital Services, the all party group which has consistently campaigned against the cuts at Wycombe Hospital. So I have a proven track record of reaching out beyond party politics to work with others.

But it's also time for a change of government. Tony Blair has run out of ideas and excuses: there will be more tax rises if Labour win again, and violent crime and anti-social behaviour are out of control. We need a positive alternative which will do more for Buckinghamshire.

A Conservative government will halt the cuts at Wycombe Hospital and review the entire closure programme. It will also put more police on the beat locally, protect Buckinghamshire's successful school system, cut council tax bills for pension households, protect the green belt and control immigration.
