Chris Adams was born in Aylesbury in 1963.After attending school in the town he became a gymnastics coach and is qualified to international performance level with the British Gymnastics Association.

He is also Bucks CC Coach for Women's Gymnastics.

Chris, with his family, runs the Lynx Gym in Aylesbury and is widely involved with charitable work in Aylesbury Vale.

Chris's first real stirrings of political awareness were driven by the chaos of the later Callaghan years, when like everyone else Chris was caught up in the effective breakdown of society engendered by the greed of the trade unions and the incompetence of the Labour government.

He saw Margaret Thatcher as something of a knight in white armour at that time, until the fatal day when she signed us up to the Single European Act without consultation or consent.

Even though only in his early 20s, Chris recognised the significance of what he saw as possibly the greatest act of betrayal of this country since the benighted Edward Heath took us into the "common market".

What has finally driven Chris into the political arena has been the abject surrender of British rights and freedoms to the European "Union" by successive Labour and Conservative governments, and the stated goals of the LibDems to make this surrender complete.

Having seen what Labour, Tories and Brussels have done to this country "A Free People in a Free Country" is now his watchword, and he hopes you will make it yours.
