Table-topping table tennis stars Chesham High School clinch the High Wycombe League Premier Division title CHESHAM High School clinched the High Wycombe League Premier Division title last week, ending Den's dominance of the league with an 8-2 win over the former champions.
Chesham's Mike Atkinson, Ken Phillipson and Mark Scholfield continued their good form, which has seen them take 74 points from 76 this season. Atkinson's treble, with two each from Phillipson and Scholfield, saw them take all the points from Den and the championship.
Apollo C look likely to be crowned Division One champions as Robert Hansell, Pete Collett and Nigel Price all took maximums in their 10-0 demolition of Molins.
In Division Two, Apollo E look like taking the champions title after three more points in a 7-3 triumph over St Peter's with two each from Stewart, Baker and Fisk. While Whitehead had two successes for the Churchmen.
