TV WEATHERMAN Ian McCaskill hopes it will be blue skies from now on after his wedding this week.
Mr McCaskill, of Seer Green, tied the knot with Patricia Cromack at St Mary's Parish Church in South Milford, Yorkshire, on Sunday.
And like a good forecaster should, the popular presenter chose one of the sunniest days of the year for the wedding.
The 45-minute service took place close to his bride's home.
The popular forcecaster said: "I am very happy.
"I have known Pat for 30 years and this is another chance for me."
The 59-year-old weatherman for the BBC, hopes to retire on his 60th birthday later this year to spend more time on interests such as travel.
His wife is studying English and drama at Leeds University.
She wore a pale yellow jacket and skirt for the wedding.
Weather girl Suzanne Charlton, a guest at the wedding, was warmly congratulated herself after it was revealed she is pregnant.
Miss Charlton, daughter of former England footballer Bobby Charlton, said that her first baby was due at the end of October.
She is married to tennis professional Nick Brown.
She made the trip to Ian's wedding along with BBC weather regulars Rob McElwie, Peter Cockcroft and Penny Tranter and around 100 relatives and friends.
Mr McCaskill, who has two daughters, said: "I am delighted for Suzanne - we all are.
"I have worked with her for ten years and we were so pleased when she was married and now it is great she is producing a little Charlton."
Mr McCaskill's first wife Lesley died after an eight-year battle against cancer six year ago.
Tragically, Patricia Cromack's husband also died.
The couples had been friends for a long time, the two women having known each other from college days.
